Anytime a school is able to flip of a Rivals100 target it's huge deal. But in the case of Concord (NC) four-star defender Hamsah Nasirildeen, it's even more important because it fills a pressing need at safety. So what does this commitment mean for FSU going forward? We've got that and a detailed scouting report from Rivals.com analyst Adam Friedman on the 'Noles' latest commitment.
------------------
The Seminoles stayed hot on Sunday night flipping former South Carolina commit Hamsah Nasirildeen. The pick up was significant for many reasons, including the fact that FSU needed a replacement for Daniel Wright, who decommitted from the Noles earlier this year.
Also important is that coming into the 2017 season running back and safety were FSU's two biggest needs. With Nasirildeen's commitment, the Seminoles are now in good shape at both positions. In addition to filling a need, national Rivals analyst Adam Friedman says FSU's hit a home run with the No. 1 rated prospect from North Carolina.
"This is a major pick up for FSU when you consider the range and all the big plays you will get from a guy like Hamsah on defense. He's a very special player. This is also huge for FSU inside the state of North Carolina, "added Friedman.
