Its official, Terrance Parks is No. 13

Although it has generally been known since Wednesday, Creekside (Fairburn, GA) head coach Kevin Whitley confirmed with Lee Gordon of Warchant.com early Thursday evening that defensive back Terrance Parks committed to Florida State during the recently completed Bobby Bowden Football Camp. Prior to today, neither Parks nor his coach have gone on the record with his commitment.
Parks is listed by Rivals.com as a safety but is expected to line up at cornerback at the next level. Despite only being rated as a three-star prospect, the 6-foot-1, 200-pound defensive back had amassed over 20 scholarship offers from programs like Alabama, Tennessee, Clemson, Florida, Georgia and Ohio State.

In addition to FSU, Parks recently camped at Auburn and Alabama.
Seminole fans will get to see Parks first hand on January 5th in the first ever ESPNU High School All-American Game.
With Parks' commitment, Florida State now has 13 for the recruiting class of 2008. The speedy Georgia native reportedly carries a 3.5 GPA and is on track to qualify.
