Florida State hosted dozens of prospects during its second and final Junior Day of 2017 last weekend. Here's a closer look at how things went with some of the Seminole targets that we haven't yet covered:

Defensive tackle Johnson has clear leader after visit

Brookhaven, Miss., defensive tackle Jeffery Johnson already holds offers from Mississippi and Mississippi State, but it appears the in-state schools are playing catch-up when it comes to competing with Florida State.

The 6-foot-3, 317-pound lineman gushed about his visit to Tallahassee for Junior Day and getting the opportunity to spend time with FSU defensive tackles coach Odell Haggins.

"It was really good. I felt so at home here with the coaches," Johnson said. "I got a chance to get to know Coach Haggins personally, and we connected very well. Florida State has always been number one for me since they offered a couple of months ago, and that has only gotten stronger. They were my first offer."

Not only did Johnson name FSU as his leader, but he also hinted that a commitment to the Seminoles could be in his future.

"I have a lot of schools now hitting me up after FSU offered," he said. "I also don't want to push myself into committing too early. But I feel Florida State is likely to be my next home."

Johnson plans to attend several Nike and Under Armour camps this spring and summer. He said he also will be back at FSU for spring practice, and he likely will attend a practice at Ole Miss.
