Position: DB/WR and Wingback
Size & Speed: 5'10", 170 pounds. Ran a 4.3 40-yard dash at the Nike Camp.
Honors: All-state in Florida as a junior for 6A.
2002 Stats: He allowed no touchdown passes and picked off nine passes. He also made his presence felt on special teams as he blocked four punts and returned two of those blocks for touchdowns.
Favorite Schools: FSU and Florida.
Skinny: Tony Carter is the ultimate team player. When asked what his personal goals where Carter said "I want to lead my team to a State Championship this year". The speedy athlete would like to also increase his interception total to 15 in 2003. Carter will also get the opportunity to showcase his talents on the offensive side of the football at wingback and receiver.
At this time he is concentrating on the upcoming season, but he did say that Florida and FSU are at the top of his list right now. Expect this to be a fight until the end between the Seminoles and Gators for one of Florida's best cornerbacks.
Camps: Carter expects to camp at both Florida and FSU this summer. He also intends on making it to the Down an Dirty camp in Atlanta.
