Lake Gibson QB has memorable FSU visit

Whenever a recruit visits Florida State and meets with head coach Bobby Bowden it usually leaves a lasting impression. One such prospect who left Florida State's Junior Day a couple weekends ago with lifelong memories is Lakeland (FL) Lake Gibson quarterback Brodie Bulloch.
"The facilities were great, it is a good environment, and I just felt like I fit in while I was there," Bulloch told Warchant.com. "I have a lot of respect for the coaches. I have loads of respect for Bobby Bowden. I am a Christian and I believe exactly how Coach Bowden does and we talked about being spiritual. That was a big thing for me because that is hard to find in a college, especially a public college."

Bulloch's first ever meeting with Coach Bowden was far from scripted, in fact, it was spur of the moment but it has left the talented product from Lakeland, Florida with a memory he will remember forever.
"I did get the chance to ride around in the golf cart with Coach Bowden," Bulloch said. "That is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I watched the practice and waited because I just wanted the opportunity to speak to Coach Bowden and I walked up, introduced myself, and told him that I admire him spiritually and football-wise. He said thank you and as all the recruits were walking over to the stadium for the second half of the practice he asked if I was going and I told him I was. He had me get in the golf cart, rode over there and he drove me out on the field. The entire way we talked about football, where he was from, and everything. That was a once-in-a-lifetime moment and something that I will tell people about for the rest of my life.
"That is a legend right there in Coach Bowden. I almost fainted when he told me to get into the golf cart."
Coach Bowden was not the only coach that Bulloch met with during his visit. He said he also spent a good deal of time with new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Jimbo Fisher when he addressed all of the quarterback visitors.
"I got to speak to Coach Fisher for a little bit," Bulloch said. "All of the quarterbacks went in with him and talked. He went over some of the scrimmage film and explained a little bit of how they do things."
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound signal-caller didn't just learn from Fisher by speaking to him but also by watching him in action during the practice and scrimmage.
"I watched how Coach Fisher worked with the quarterbacks," Bulloch said. "Whether I am watching a practice or watching football on television I always pay close attention to the quarterbacks. I am always trying to learn something. I watched them running the offense (on Saturday) and I was trying to learn something. I paid attention to the footwork and things that they do that I don't do."
The talented QB currently has a top four but said he is keeping an open mind when it comes to the recruiting process.
"I have a top four of Florida State, Alabama, Louisville, and South Carolina," Bulloch said. "I do not have any offers yet. I am hoping that before to long they will start to come in. So far I have my four favorites as far as schools I have looked into and programs I have looked into but if someone else came along and I got a better offer, I would take a look. My mind could change."
Bulloch previously visited Alabama on a couple of occasions but has yet to meet the new coaching staff. He is also hoping to check out Louisville for the first time in June.
This summer Bulloch plans to attend the Senior Day Camp at Alabama as well as the NIKE Camp at Florida State.
