Others in the mix: None

Comments: It's not out of the question that Florida State would take a second quarterback in this class in addition to current commitment J.J. Cosentino. That's still up for discussion among the staff. However, in case that does happen, FSU has some options lined up. If they did push for another quarterback. it's not a reflection of Cosentino. FSU loves what they have with him at quarterback and where they stand.

Others in the mix: Royce Freeman, Shai McKenzie, Donte Thomas-Williams, Aeris Williams, Cortavious Givens

Comments: I would have thrown Leonard Fournette into the others in the mix category because he would be the top option. However, I wanted to focus on the realistic options for FSU. The staff is very high on Freeman and his interest in FSU is very legit. But Oregon is a major concern. McKenzie is another prospect the staff likes, but not quite as much as some others.

On Williams, he's a new running back target that the FSU staff visited with in the spring. I hear the staff is very high on him so keep a close watch for Williams going forward. I hear from those close to Williams he plans to visit FSU in late June. He is being recruited by Tim Brewster.
