After a month of competitions, photo shoots, video features, and more, two

new Warchant Cowgirls have been named to join Becky Thompson for the upcoming

season. It was a very tough decision, and each contestant was judged on

appearance, personality, and dedication to Florida State, as well as how they

interacted with each other and the fans.

Ashley Nugent and Dani Forte narrowly edged out both Lacey

Bailey and Ashley Bonomini to become the newest Warchant Cowgirls.

When informed that she had been picked as a Cowgirl, Ashley said, "I feel so

honored to be one of the new Cowgirls. It's an amazing feeling and I don't know

exactly how to describe it. It still hasn't 100% hit me yet, so I can't wait

until the season starts and the Warchant Cowgirls are in full affect. I can't

thank everyone enough for all their support throughout the contest, I know this

is cliche' but seriously, I couldn't have done it without you!"

Dani's comments were similar, "first of all, thank you so much for everyone's

support and comments. I'm extremely excited to join Ashley as one of the new

Warchant Cowgirls. Thus far this experience has been awesome and football season

can't get here fast enough. I promise to try to live up to everyone's

expectations and be the best representative of FSU and Warchant that I can be.

Veteran returning Cowgirl Becky had this to say about the contest, "I am really looking

forward to this upcoming season with great additions like Dani and Ashley. I had

such a great time getting to know all of the girls throughout the process."

The second and final contest of the year will be held later in July to name the

last 2010 Warchant Cowgirl. Details will be released in the coming days.
