Florida State coach Mike Norvell reflects on scrimmage No. 2 on Saturday night. The Seminoles were again forced inside due to lightning but Norvell mentioned players were "flying around" three times during his interview with the media.

We also have live updates of Norvell and the coordinators on the message board.

Opening statement

"It was good scrimmage tonight you know. Unfortunately we had to go, due to lightning, had to go into the indoor. And I thought guys handled the transition really well with a ton of energy because our guys were flying around tonight. To end this week with six straight days, the physical work that was put in, the mental strain, having to drive two and a half, three hours back this morning. You try to create some adverse situations and circumstances. And I thought our guys handled it really well. I'm proud of the team for the work they put in the night. There was a lot of great things with the scrimmage, both sides of the ball, explosive plays. There were some great physicality. You saw guys winning 1-on-1 matchups. You saw guys running hard, blocking art. Had some penalty things that we have to clean up. We did have ACC officials here and some of our young linemen just got a little antsy and we got to we got to make sure we definitely clean up some of those procedural things. But all in all, I thought it was a really good scrimmage. Jordan (Travis) we gave him a couple series, two or three series. I thought he did a really nice job throughout it. I wanted to see Tate and AJ get some work with the 1s. But I think both guys, Tate probably he got a few more reps. AJ did a good job, he got a set with the 1s and was able to move the ball with them. And I thought just the ownership of the offense, they're really doing a nice job. I like what I’m seeing from that group. I thought our running backs ran hard. Receivers made some plays out on the perimeter. Guys that have been playing well are continuing to play well. So I'm excited about that continued development. And defensively I thought it was definitely — our defense played fast tonight. There was a lot of physicality. I thought it was a really good scrimmage. Definitely proud of the team for the way they approached it. Tomorrow will be an off day. They'll come in, they'll get treatment. Monday will be an off day. We'll come in and watch the film and try to give them a couple of back-to-back days without the physical and then we'll jump back into this week as we continue to prepare. Still get a lot of work to be done, but like the trajectory of where we’re heading."
