Rivals100 WR is a Seminole

It wasn't a huge surprise, in fact it leaked out a little early, but Rivals100 wide receiver Ahmad Paige made it official on Thursday night that he planned on signing with the Seminoles. On ESPNU, during halftime of a high school game, the speedy wideout told a national television audience that he selected the 'Noles over schools like LSU, Tennessee and USC.

"It was just a family feel," Paige said. "I came down there with two or three visits and as soon as I got there it felt like I was home playing video games, hanging out with the players and hanging out with the coaches. It's just a great atmosphere and just something special that I want to be a part of."
Ever since he visited Florida State during the July Football Camp, it was speculated that the Sterlington (LA) High School standout was ready to pack his bags for Tallahassee. From his verbal commitment, it sounds like his decision is a solid one but Paige says he will still take some other visits including USC, Miami LSU and Tennessee.
Even though he is technically considered a "soft" commitment, the No. 5 ranked prospect in Louisiana was excited about his choice.
"I felt like that was a good place for me," Paige told Rivals.com. "It fit me, my personality the way I play and everything."
During his previous visits to FSU's campus, The 6-foot-2, 175-pound speedster formed a close bond with former Seminole receiver Ron Dugans. The FSU graduate assistant coach won a national championship with the 'Noles and played in the NFL. Previously, Paige told Warchant.com that his relationship with with coach Dugans is a big reason why FSU was high on his wish list.
Paige has tentatively scheduled his official visit to FSU for the weekend of September 15th, which is the weekend of the Clemson game.
As a junior, Paige caught 33 passes for 852 yards and 9 touchdowns. He also runs a blazing 4.39 in the 40-yard dash.
