The 6-foot-2, 215-pound outside linebacker has narrowed his choices to two schools - Florida State and Ole Miss. Here's what the talented defender had to say about each of his finalists on the eve of his announcement.
Ole Miss: "It is a great program. They look like they are going to do great the next few years. I like the coaches' future plans for their program. The campus is beautiful. They play great football in the SEC, it is one of the most competitive conferences."
Florida State: "They are just a great football program. They are one of the top schools to play for. They have great academics, a great campus, and some great coaches. It is just a great place to go to school."
After eliminating schools such as Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky, West Virginia, Colorado, and others, Terrell said he weighed the pros and cons of his two finalists in order to reach his final decision.
"It came down to a factor of things," he said. "I just thought about the things I liked and didn't like about both schools. I made my decision off of that. I spoke to my family about it and just went from there."
While some prospects make a show out of their announcement, Terrell intends to keep it simple tomorrow.
"I plan to just sit down and talk about it," Terrell said. "I will announce it publicly at that point. It won't be anything too fancy."
As a junior, Terrell had 114 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, two sacks, and an interception.
