Detailed description - Top plays
1967 FSU at Florida - In the first road victory over UF in school history, quarterback Kim Hammond threw the game-winning touchdown with less than 12 minutes remaining to Ron Sellers.
1980 FSU at Nebraska - Battling back from a 14-3 deficit, No. 16 FSU scored 15 unanswered points against No. 3 Nebraska. But with just 12 seconds left, the Huskers drove to FSU's three-yard line. The drive was stopped when linebacker Paul Piurowski forced a fumble which was recovered by Gary Futch to secure the win.
1988 Fiesta Bowl vs. Nebraska - Danny McManus to Ronald Lewis on 4th and 14 to win the game and start FSU's 14-year streak of top four finishes.
1988 Puntrooskie vs. Clemson - With 1:30 left in the game, LeRoy Butler takes the snap on a punt and runs it 78 yards to set up the game-winning field goal.
1989 Sugar Bowl vs. Auburn - With 21 seconds left and FSU clinging to a 13-7 lead, Deion Sanders stepped in front of a potential game-winning TD pass from Auburn's Reggie Slack in the end zone to seal the victory.
1990 vs. Florida - On the second play of the game, Casey Weldon finds Lawrence Dawsey for 76-yard TD. FSU would on to win 45-30 in the first ever game vs. Steve Spurrier as UF's head coach.
1991 at Michigan - Terrell Buckley picks off the first pass of the game from Elvis Grbac for a pick six. FSU would go on to destroy Michigan in the Big House 51-31.
1992 at Ga. Tech - Charlie Ward hooks up with Kez McCorvey for a 17-yard TD with 1:48 left to complete a comeback and defeat No. 16 Georgia Tech 29-24. FSU was trailing 21-7 in the fourth quarter.
1993 at Florida - With No. 1 FSU up 27-21 over No. 7 UF and facing a 3rd and long with 5:28 left, Charlie Ward found Warrick Dunn for a 79-yard TD. The win secured a place for FSU in the national championship game.
1993 vs. Miami - With less than five minutes left in the game safety Devin Bush picked off a Frank Costa pass and ran it back 40 yards for TD to seal victory over No. 3 ranked Miami ending the 'Canes three-game win streak over the 'Noles. The win was the first major step towards FSU's first national championship.
1994 Orange Bowl vs. Nebraska - Scott Bentley kicks a 22-yard field goal with 21 seconds left to secure FSU's first national championship.
1994 Choke in Doak - Rock Preston rushes for 4-yard TD with 1:45 left completing an amazing comeback to tie the score at 31-31 - FSU trailed 31-3 at the start of the fourth quarter.
1999 at Florida - With 4:46 remaining in the 3rd quarter, Sebastian Janikowski nails a 54-yard field goal to tie the game 16-16.
2000 Sugar Bowl - Chris Weinke tosses a 42-yard TD pass to Peter Warrick in the final minutes to seal the 46-29 win and secure FSU's second national championship.
2003 at Florida - In a back and forth game in the Swamp, Chris Rix throws a 52-yard TD to P.K. Sam late in the fourth quarter. No. 9 ranked FSU wins 38-34 over No. 11 UF.
2010 vs. Clemson - Dustin Hopkins nails a walk-off 55-yard field goal for the win. FSU 16, Clemson 13.
