Florida State continued putting the finishing touches on preseason camp during Friday's fully padded practice. After drilling mostly special teams the day before, FSU returned to a more conventional practice for 25 periods.

Afterwards, deputy head coach Chris Thomsen, who also coaches tight ends, shared his thoughts on his segment's performance this preseason. Head coach Mike Norvell, who was not scheduled to speak to reporters, dropped in to take a handful of questions about the upcoming final days of camp. FSU is scheduled to hold their longest practice of the week on Saturday in the lead-up to a mock game on Sunday.
