The rumors have been rampant ever since Florida State's summer camp. Well, the cat finally appears to be out of the bag. During a trip to California for the Elite 11 Quarterback Camp Drew Weatherford, a four-star signal caller according to Rivals100.com, finally decided to announce his decision. He told Student Sports, a high school sports magazine and website, late Saturday that he wanted to end the process and committed to the Seminoles.

With Florida State striking out at quarterback in the last recruiting class, the Land O'Lakes star will be a huge addition at a much needed position. He will likely watch from the sideline his first year with seniors Chris Rix and Fabian Walker on top of the depth chart, but will have a shot at competing for the coveted starting job in 2005.
The 6-foot-3, 205-pound signal caller had an amazing 37-to-2 touchdown-to-interception ratio last season. He also had a 70-percent completion percentage and threw for 2,494 yards.
