After the big four were drafted, many thought the next Seminole off the board would be either Pat Watkins or Leon Washington. Turns out, it was wide receiver and return specialist Willie Reid. The Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers selected Reid in the 3rd round with the 95th overall pick, and the former Mr. Football for Georgia couldn't be happier.

"It feels good to go to Pittsburgh," said Reid. "It's nice to be in the NFL, but even better in Pittsburgh. It's the Steelers. I thought I would go earlier, but I'm glad to be in this position."
As a senior, Reid posted 1,325 all-purpose yards leading the 'Noles. His statement games came on special teams in both the ACC Championship game and the Orange Bowl against Penn State where he returned a punt for a touchdown. The Super Bowl Champs are hoping to use Reid in as many ways as they can.
"They're bringing me in because I'm an all purpose guy," said Reid. "It'll be interesting to see how they use me."
The 5-foot-10, 188 pound athlete will be reunited with former Seminole Bryant McFadden when he reports to mini-camp in a few weeks.
"It'll be nice to know someone," said Reid,."I'm going to have to compete for a spot, but it's a big honor."
Reid is very fortunate that he and the other four first rounders went on day one, but it's also bittersweet because his friends Leon Washington and Pat Watkins will have to wait until Day two.
"I think those guys will get in the 4th round," said Reid. "They bring a lot to any team. But I'm very fortunate."
As for those four first rounders, Reid says he hopes that it will send a message to the high school recruits that Florida State is the place to be.
"That's real good," said Reid. "A lot of guys say if you want to go to the league, you go to FSU. They're a young team on their way up and we put people in the NFL."
Reid said he hasn't spoken with the team about when he will arrive in Pittsburgh, but those details should be ironed out in the next few days.
