1. Is Lovelady a legit option at guard, down the road? 2. What are your thought on Carter? 3. Has Barron gained enough good weight to start at center this year if Stork slides out to RT?
1. I think at this point, spring ball 2013, Lovelady has to be a legit option at guard. Come fall? Ira Denson gets here and it's hard to envision him not being on the two deep given the depth issues so the shuffle could be interesting. Lovelady has experience at center and guard and he even played tackle in high school at Navarre. He'll stay inside most likely, but long term I see him as a versatile reserve that gives Trickett options if there are injuries to the starters.
2. Haven't seen him much, but I like him. Not as big as Jackson/Matias (and he's not challenging them for their spots anyway) but what I'd be interested to see is if he could help out at tackle. Not sure on that yet. But he's worked at both guard spots during spring so again, perhaps more versatility behind the starting five.
3. From the looks of things in spring, the coaching staff feels Barron can start at center this year. If that wasn't the case, they wouldn't be giving Stork work at right tackle. In my opinion, though, the best-case for FSU is Hart to win the righ tackle job and to keep Stork at center. So yes Barron could do it, but I think keeping Stork there is the goal.
