Definitely was the jerseys.

Wearing black in that game was appropriate.

In spite of all the "300lbs" hype my bet is that he'll slim down to c. 280lbs or so for season start...

IF theyrealized that they screwed up the colors of the numbers in a royal way and are going to change them back....why the hell aren't they changing them back NOW???  There is absolutely zero acceptable reasons that this has to be put off a year.

The only thing I can come up with is that Nike doesn't want to be stuck holding the bill for all the retail jersey's with gold numbers that aren't going to sell if they change the players jerseys this year.  They are hoping that keeping the gold numbers on the players jerseys for a year will allow them to sell the already produced gold number retail ones.  And that's a crock of ship.  Change the numbers now, and cut your losses Nike.  You're the ones that screwed up the numbers in the first place.

Forget curses, the memory of that awful game is cause to shudder.

Great update. Obviously you guys are not going to bash a kid before he has seen the practice field, much less put pads on yet. But pointing out insider tips on who shows up in great shape is all we can ask for at thisb point.

Quick question for anyone out there, especially a Warchant staff guy: In my opinion, the biggest freshman impact will come from either Rudolph or Lane (nothing against these new defensive tackles, just including depth chart in my analysis). Which guy, Rudolph or Lane makes the biggest impact this year? Just my guess and sort of a hedge guess, but I think Rudolph helps more in year one but Lane ultimatley becomes the better of two studs and a higher draft pick unless Rudolph stays a year longer than Lane.

Different coach, staff and players. No worries as long as we execute.
