I don't know how I missed this article a few weeks ago but it is significant.  The first Rhodes Scholar from Florida was a graduate of Florida State University.  Ok, maybe it wasn't called FSU back then but close enough.  There was a nice story in the latest edition of Vires.  I haven't seen that story online yet.

Great win for FSU and the Office of National Fellowships!  They are doing amazing work.  Since the Office has been operational, FSU has produced three scholars and many finalists.  Go show the Office of National Fellowships some love if you have a chance.

Shouldn't this be on the ONF list of scholars?

I checked the Rhodes website and this 1905 winner is attributed to Florida State University.  This individual belongs on the wall of the ONF.

Let's get this updated and publicized ASAP.

Agreed, Mac.  This is a great story.  I emailed both Dr. Filar and President Barron to 1) say thank you/keep up the good work and 2) when would the website be updated?
