My prayers go out to his family and friends. Like many here on this board, I didn't know Larry personally, but I feel that he had a tremendous impact on me through his posts and other people's posts about him. Just a great man. Very sad day indeed...

Thanks for your service, Larry and Pam.
The generation who came home from Viet Nam did so to a country who often did not appreciate or understand the sacrifices that they had made. My favorite co-worker flew Cobras in The Nam, and he has regaled us with tales of the Medics to whom many owed their survival.
He also has total respect for those whom awaited their uncertain return, keeping the home fires burning.
Thanks and love Mr. President. RIP Sir. Thank you Pam for your shared burdens.

I was so shocked to receive that email last night. Larry had this great way of always checking up on me especially when I was having bad days. I dont know how he knew my bad days but he did and his little emails and messages were a special way to brighten my day. After my accident he would send me emails weekly asking me how my surgery went how I was doing and how my physically therapy was going. He really cared about me and how I was doing. I never got the pleasure of meeting him but I know one day I will. God bless him and his family.....

For the past year or so I have been reading about the updates some of you have been giving on him. I could see, and still see, the love you all had for this wonderful man. I am truly sorry for your loss. God speed.

My heart aches for all who are grieving the loss of such a wonderful man. Although I am only a lurker of LR, I have such respect for Larry not only because of his service to our country but how he touched so many lives by the way he lived his. My prayers to Pam, I hope the Lord will comfort her.
