DemoncraticNole - sweet stuff, thanks for sharing.

? for you: you have a photo in your posts and added underneath it: "this isn't me" or something like that. At first I did think it was you until you put the caption under it. My ? is, out of curiosity, why have that photo there? the guy seems either very determined or very mad or both. Again, asking out of curiosity, nothing more

Once again, great job on the photos - been a blessing to me and many others

Thanks for the photos. I saved them on my computer. I was born in 1944 and was in DOAK starting in 1965. Great memories!

No, the guy in the photo is not me. I put that because many people kept thinking it was me, when it was not. He is my good friend "The Godfather" who posts on Warchant as MJPWOOO. My friend use to be president of the Tampa Bay Seminole Club. He isn't actually angry. That photo was taken at the game watching party for BYU in 2009 and he was just messing around.

Great stuff Dem, thanks.

Before they locked the gates, there was a tradition of eh... "planting the spear" at the stadium so the above post is likely accurate.

I was sitting in the Fraternity section in 1965 ... then trying to leave a few seconds before the game with FU was over I was standing right next to the end zone when Lane Fenner caught the winning touchdown that wasn't. The ref was a Turd lover. Fenner was down on his knees with full control and feet away from being out of bounds when the catch that WON the game was called out. I was standing so close to "the catch" ...FSU WON! I will never forget the bum ref that stole the game. Still had fun like all Seminoles do!

I was in the stands in the 1964 photo.I will all ways remember the giant erector set. What an exciting day when we beat UF that year, the first time we played them in Tallahassee.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, I think that's Andrew Diaz in that picture. I went to school with him in 6th and 7th grade in Tampa. When he was at FSU, we always thought he looked more like Billy Joel than the honorable Laguardia.

Oh, and Goldmom, we weren't wearing much Hai Karate in '85; more likely Aramis or Halston Z-14. Or maybe Jovan musk.

What, they were out of Stetson? laugh

In looking at these again, the baseball field across from Doak in the 60s floods back some memories(pre-Howser with only dugouts and no covered stands, sitting on the bank of the Pensacola Street overpass and drinking beer).

BTW goldmom, how about Canoe and English Leather for the 60s guys.
