+1 from Monterey, California!

9.5 on the Richter Scale in Pensacola!

Posted on 11/28 1:17 AM | IP: Logged

It was a great atmosphere and everyone stayed jacked up till the end. I think I sat for a total of 37 seconds the entire game, and I loved it.

A special thanks to my brother-in-law Tommy who braved all 4 quarters and the ensuing celebration. Awesome, Awesome game.

Go Noles.

Thanks for the props!! We were yelling every play on defense the entire game....was really fun...about time we showed up and made a difference!!!

Posted on 11/28 1:22 AM | IP: Logged

JUST got home from the game. One of the best crowds i have ever been a part of. We caused FU to use all3 to'sin the first quarter and the crowd knew it. From there on, we challenged ourselves to get louder. A gator fan next to me even said 'this place is insane'.. he was right.

Yep, it was awesome! Def the greatest game I've ever been to in Doak. We rocked that place all night. What made it even sweeter was not getting the NC st score until some time in the 3rd, when our game was well in hand. It made our game that much sweeter.

I'll remember this game all of my life...

Posted on 11/28 1:50 AM | IP: Logged

I don't ever remember a crowd like that at Doak, not in the last few years anyway. Unreal. Loud, energetic, filled to capacity. Top 5 FSU moment for me without a doubt...

Posted on 11/28 2:00 AM | IP: Logged

Just got in from the drive home too. Best game I can remember in a long time. Stadium was so electric, crowd so intense from start to finish. So loud on EVERY defensive play all game long and when the players asked for more we somehow squeezed out even more. I am so hoarse now. We wanted it so bad, years of frustration against the hated gates, first win against them on Bobby Bowden Field. For Ponder and Hudson and McMahon and Kendall and Mister and Markus and all the seniors. And when the Chiefs played the fight song after the final whistle, they sounded a half-mile away because it was still so loud in there. And when the final gun sounds in Maryland cheers erupt again outside the stadium. Man, what a day!

It's late, but I can't sleep. Time to crank up the DVR!

my goal was to lose my voice...i did

Posted on 11/28 2:05 AM | IP: Logged

Right on, man. Shoutout here from the Seminole Club of San Diego! About fifty or sixty of us packed into a bar in North San Diego County and loved every minute of it!

Posted on 11/28 2:30 AM | IP: Logged

From the roaring warchant when the players first came out of the tunnel, to the timeouts called because of the crowd. From the eruption of the big hits to the stop on the fake punt, Doak was absolutely the loudest I have ever heard it in person. I will never forget this as long as I live, standing there as time hit 00:00 was a moment in my life that I will always hold dearest to me.

I stood there and soaked it in, I threw my hands in the air and looked up to the sky as the fireworks blasted in the cold sky. It almost had me in tears, it was the best thing I have ever been apart of and contributed to. Perhaps the best part of it all was seeing the players watch as the final moments of the Maryland game began to tick off the clock. The crowd roared for the entire time until every last Seminole went in the locker room.

That was something that is worth living for, and something that I will NEVER forget.

Heard you guys all the way from Colombia South America

Posted on 11/28 3:26 AM | IP: Logged

This was the first game in years that I can remember standing the ENTIRE GAME. I did not take a seat one time throughout the entire game. The crazy part? I was never asked or encouraged to take a seat the entire game. In fact, I didn't see one person two rows in front of me or two rows behind me take a par longed seat the entire game. It was simply electric.

In a word..wow. I got those 90s goosebumps tonight and they felt great. incredible.

my voice is absolutely gone. i was standing and screaming from the kickoff to walking out.

Posted on 11/28 3:43 AM | IP: Logged

Stadium was AWESOME!!! Section 10 was standing and screaming the entire game! I'm right there with everyone with no voice... Go Noles!

and i have no voice

Live just a few miles south of Tally. What excitement and noise. We weren't the only ones watching the game in my neighborhood. We heard screams and cheers coming from houses near to us. Same as it was when we took care of UM. Just seemed uf was flustered all game and could not get in sync. Sort of like "Hell that didn't work let's try this. Hmmmm that did work either". LOVE IT!!!

Posted on 11/28 6:09 AM | IP: Logged

You're welcome, it was incredible! We yelled our asses off. I've been at games since '76 and this was one of the best. Back to the Dynasty Days; I was at Miaimi '05 and that was the most "recent" incredible fan atmosphere and this topped that by far! Wish I could be in Charlotte.

I listened to the game from Korea...I was shaking it was so exciting! I think I heard Gene say, "man, we are kicking the s*** out of Florida!" What a great day to be a 'Nole!!!! Bring on Virginia Tech! How could you not want to come play in Tally? The Doak is where it's at!!!!!!!!!

Ditto to BPNoles. I will never forget that feeling as long as I live.

Posted on 11/28 1:02 PM | IP: Logged

I was flying back to Oregon during the game and keeping up with it via the inflight internet. Felt the turbulance Doak created! Wish I could have been there!

Posted on 11/28 1:15 PM | IP: Logged

You are welcome! :)

Posted on 11/28 1:20 PM | IP: Logged

Definitely. Neighbors here Durham were complaining about noise!! 3dGrin

Posted on 11/28 1:22 PM | IP: Logged

I'll ditto that. I could feel it all the way out here in Neo-Nazi Land---also known as Flathead County, Montana. Couple hours after the game, I phoned my cousin who has had season tickets since forever, and he said it was THE loudest the stadium has EVER been. Thank you, Nole Nation. This one's for the seniors on the team and you good folks in the stands.

Posted on 11/28 1:30 PM | IP: Logged

In terms of a single play, I still think Hopkins kick vs. Clemson was the loudest I've ever heard Doak. However last night was just insanity the whole night. The best part is hardly few if any Noles left before the buzzer, and most stayed for the Maryland game when they put it up (a lot of players stayed out and watched it too). It was great seeing the gates flee at the beginning of the 4th...damn that game was awesome.

Posted on 11/28 1:47 PM | IP: Logged

Best game I've ever been to. It might have gotten louder when Miami muffed the field goal in '05, but this was the loudest I have heard Doak from start to finish ever.

Fans in my section were asking Gator fans who were leaving early why they were leaving when they had paid for 4 quarters of football. So much fun.

Just got back as well. Words can't describe what took place at Doak last night. Most of us have sat through some great ones during the dynasty years but it has been a while since it was that loud and electric. My 12 year old didn't know that an atmosphere like that existed until last night. The old gator sitting in front of us turned to my son as he was about to put his gator jacket on and asked him if he wanted to buy a jacket. He was a pretty good sport probably due to his Seminole wife that was probably pretty hot back in the day. One of the best games that I've ever been to. And before I forget, props to the students who collectively wreaked havoc on the gator offense the first quarter. Go Noles.

Posted on 11/28 2:23 PM | IP: Logged

From the hundreds of us watching the game from Dallas...thank you. You all made Doak magic again.

Posted on 11/28 2:31 PM | IP: Logged

I can't remember Doak that loud. What a feeling to hear us rockin.

Posted on 11/28 3:10 PM | IP: Logged
