2026 QB prospect, FSU legacy Romin Seymour earns offer at camp

Florida State head coach Mike Norvell extended an offer to class of 2026 quarterback prospect Romin Seymour from Manvale (Tex.) High School on Friday afternoon. Seymour, who is 6-foot-5 and 193 pounds, was the most impressive prospect to take part in the Florida State quarterback camp on Friday morning.

Seymour is the son of Roland Seymour, who played defensive end for Florida State from 1996-2000. The younger Seymour also has offers from Texas A&M, Houston, Pitt and UTSA.

"Very, very, very exciting, I was very excited," said Seymour of being offered by Norvell and quarterbacks coach Tony Tokarz. "He (Norvell) said that I was very coachable, and I had good talent and he saw a bright future for me."

Seymour also liked getting the chance to work with Tokarz.

"He was coaching me hard," said Seymour. "And what he was telling me, it was working, translating to my throws."

The younger Seymour was also proud to have picked up an offer from his dad's alma mater.

"It's just amazing because all we did growing up was watch Florida State, even through the struggling years, even through the good years, we've been watching Florida State all this time, so it is just an amazing feeling."

This was Seymour's first trip to FSU and Tallahassee and he says he will be back for a game and also to explore campus.
