Jacksonville Episcopal offensive guard Andrew Boselli visited Florida State for its junior day in February. Shortly after his visit, he named the Seminoles his leader.
On Thursday evening, the three-star lineman ended his recruitment when he announced on Twitter he committed to FSU.
Extremely excited to announce that I have committed to Florida State University #Seminoles- Andrew Bo (@AndrewBoselli) April 17, 2015
"I talked everything over with my family and decided it was time to make my decision," he told Warchant.com "I called Coach [Rick] Trickett tonight. I committed to Florida State. I'm very excited."
Boselli, the son of former NFL Pro Bowl offensive lineman Tony Boselli, is FSU's 13th commitment for the 2016 recruiting class and the second offensive lineman.
He is close friends with another 2016 commitment, who is a former Jacksonville resident.
"I actually grew up with [tight end] Isaac Nauta," he told Warchant.com in February.
"When I talked to Isaac (prior to the junior day visit), he said one of the best decisions he ever made was committing to Florida State and recommended it to me. He said he stayed in the dorms a couple of nights and has been here tons of tons of times and he loves it and he wants me to join him."
Boselli plans to enroll early at Florida State if everything goes as planned with his academics.
He chose the Seminoles over Duke, Miami, among others.
