Florida State football lands commitment from Lake City (Fla.) DB

Florida State struggling 2021 football recruiting class received interesting news on Friday with an in-state defender pulling the trigger for the Seminoles. Unranked prospect Shyheim Brown from Lake City (Fla.) Columbia announced via Twitter that he has made a commitment.

The 6-foot-1, 188-pound defender could end up playing cornerback, safety or even grow into a linebacker in college. He becomes the No. 16 commitment and eighth defender for the Seminoles' 2021 recruiting class.
