Former Florida State assistant coach Dameyune Craig, who spent the last four seasons at Auburn and LSU, has returned to the FSU coaching staff.

Craig served as quarterbacks coach under Jimbo Fisher at FSU from 2010-12 before leaving for a promotion at Auburn, his alma mater. He was spotted at Florida State's first spring practice on Monday, and Warchant.com confirmed that he has been hired as a quality control assistant on offense.

Craig is recognized as a very good recruiter and was instrumental in the Seminoles landing future Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston in the 2012 signing class. He spent last season at LSU after three years at Auburn, but he was not retained by new head coach Ed Orgeron.
