Four-star '26 OT John Turntine, '27 QB Brady Edmund, others get FSU offers

It was a busy day on the road for the Florida State coaching staff on Tuesday. Tight ends coach Chris Thomsen offered several 2026 prospect in Texas including four-star offensive tackle John Turntine III and three-star tight end Ryder Mix.

Here is a closer look at who Florida State extended offers to on Tuesday:

Not surprisingly Turntine has an impressive offer list that consists of Georgia, Oklahoma State, Ohio State, Tennessee, Penn State, Missouri, Oregon and Nebraska among others.

Ojo is starting to heat up on the recruiting trail. In addition to FSU, he has received offers from Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Cal, Arkansas, Alabama and Oklahoma since March. He has been on unofficial visits to Houston, Arkansas and Alabama this year.

Felix Ojo - Hudl

Mix was offered by Thomsen. His list of offers includes Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, Missouri, TCU and Wisconsin among others.

As a sophomore Mix caught 16 passes for 248 yards and three touchdowns.

Ryder Mix 2026 Tight End (rivals.com)

Edmunds already has offers from Arizona State and Virginia Tech heading into his sophomore year. He is receiving interest from Alabama and took three unofficial visits to Tuscaloosa as a freshman. Ohio State, UCLA and USC are also showing early interest in Edmund.

As a freshman Edmunds threw for 2,691 yards while completing 164 of 302 of his passes. He threw 24 TD passes vs. 12 interceptions.
