Four-star DE Curtis Fann Jr. gives FSU visit a perfect '10'
Four-star defensive end Curtis Fann Jr. knew he wanted to give Florida State a look during his recruiting process. But the Twin City, Ga., prospect says he was stunned when he finally did.
Fann took an unofficial visit to FSU on Saturday and described it as "amazing."
"I really loved everything at Florida State," the 6-foot-3, 255-pounder said. "I felt so comfortable. It was the vibe, the people and how everything was so laid back. I would give it a '10' (On a 1-10 ranking scale) because I really felt right at home with all the coaches and the vibe I felt all visit long."
Before checking out Florida State and Tallahassee, Fann already had visited Tennessee, Auburn, Georgia, Alabama and Georgia Tech, among others. But he said this trip stood out from the rest.
"I got there Saturday morning, and the entire coaching staff was there to greet me at the door," Fann said. "That hasn't happened anywhere I've been. It's just the vibe, culture and the family you feel immediately at FSU. It's different than any place I've been."
With such high praise for FSU following the visit, the obvious question is where do the Seminoles stand for the talented defensive lineman?
"FSU is in a very good spot with me. Very good," Fann said. "They are very high for me no doubt. I'm going to be coming back for sure for a game. I don't know which one, but I'll be back. I want to see what the game-day atmosphere is now like."
