In the recently released Rivals.com rankings, Gavin was ranked No. 193 overall and the No. 43 wide receiver. With Gavin's decommitment, FSU currently has no wide receivers committed for the upcoming recruiting class. However, FSU is heavily involved with five-star Nate Craig-Myers, the nation's No. 1 ranked receiver, and four-star standouts Stephen Sullivan and Binjimen Victor.
