FSU, South Florida agree to series in 2015, 2016

Florida State won't be waiting long for another game in Tampa.
The school announced Monday that is has agreed to another home-and-home football series starting in 2015. FSU will host USF on Sept. 26, 2015 and the Seminoles will make the trip to Raymond James Stadium on Sept. 24, 2016.
With a strong contingent of fans on hand for a designated road game, FSU beat USF 30-17 in Tampa in 2012. USF beat the Seminoles in Tallahassee 17-7 in 2009 in the first game of the agreement.

FSU head coach Jimbo Fisher is 6-1 against teams in the state of Florida.
"We're excited to have USF back on the schedule," FSU head coach Jimbo Fisher said. "They're a great program. It's been a good series thus far, and it's great for our fans to have another in-state series on the schedule."
Florida State will also host Texas State and Tennessee-Chattanooga out of conference in 2015. Outside of Florida, this is FSU's first non-conference game on the schedule for 2016.
