ORLANDO -- Although he was one of the last players to come through the Under Armour All-America game check-in line on Tuesday, all eyes were still on five-star defensive tackle Marvin Wilson.
And Wilson, the nation's No. 2 overall prospect, made it clear that he was already focused on being a dominant force against some of the country's top college prospects. He enjoyed posing for pictures, getting his cleats and chatting up other players, but he already was thinking about the competition.
"Man, it's a dream come true," Wilson said. "I've always wanted to play in this particular bowl. I've taken it serious, and I've come here to be the MVP and dominate."
Wilson might be extra motivated after feeling that he didn't perform up to his own expectations at the Rivals Five-Star Challenge this past summer in Atlanta. Wilson didn't struggle; he just felt he could have done more.
"The biggest thing I learned was everyone's coming for me," Wilson said. "Now my ears are pinned back, and I'm ready for anything."
When it comes to recruiting, Wilson made an announcement regarding his top five schools, from which he'll pick one on National Signing Day.
"It's Florida State, Ohio State, LSU, Oklahoma and USF," Wilson said.
