LB Tavion Wallace, WR Naeshaun Montgomery talk FSU at Rivals Camp

Two four-star 2025 prospects, linebacker Tavion Wallace and wide receiver Naeshaun Montgomery, took part in the Rivals Elite Camp in Atlanta on Sunday. The pair remain targets on Florida State's recruiting board for this cycle and both stood out in Atlanta while going against some of the best competition in the southeast.

The Osceola spoke with both Wallace and Montgomery to get an update on where things stand between themselves and FSU at this point in their recruitment.

Wallace on his unofficial visit to FSU two weeks ago and where things stand at this point: "I mean they are still one of my top schools. I love going back to Tallahassee and I can't wait to get back in the summer for my official visit (June 14)."

Wallace on the message he has been receiving from Mike Norvell and Randy Shannon: "Really, that they're going to change me not just as a player but as a young man."

Wallace on what stands out about Florida State: "Really the consistency I have with the coaches and the bond I have with everybody from the people in the lunch room to people everywhere in the whole facility."

Wallace also has official visits set up with Georgia (June 7) and Arkansas (May 31). It has been reported by other outlets that he has an official visit set up with South Carolina, but Wallace didn't mention it when we spoke to him.

Montgomery on where he is with FSU: "Florida State is definitely high on my list. Coach Norvell and all the coaching staff show me a lot of love every day, so they are definitely high on my list."

Montgomery on official visits to FSU and elsewhere: "I am supposed to call coach (FSU WR Coach Ron Dugans) this week actually and set it up. I have Penn State and Florida right now."

Montgomery on the message he is receiving from Norvell and Dugans: "Really that I can come in as a freshman and take over and really just make an impact as a freshman. He just wants me to keep working and hopefully be a 'Nole."
