Sometimes in college football recruiting, it can be easy come, easy go.

Just last week, Florida State parted ways with linebacker commitment DeMarco Artis. On Wednesday morning, the Seminoles landed a commitment from four-star linebacker Leonard Warner of Snellville, Ga.

Warner announced he has selected Florida State over Stanford, Georgia and others.

The pick-up of Warner, a 6-foot-3, 220-pounder, wasn't a complete shocker considering he's visited FSU twice already this year. The Rivals250 member visited FSU officially in October.

"It was a really good visit," Warner said at the time. "My family joined me for the visit, and I like how their defense plays fast and they gave a very detailed presentation on academics. I really liked it."

Rivals ranks Warner as the nation's No. 5 inside linebacker.
