Polite selected FSU over Miami Tuesday morning

On Tuesday morning, the FSU men's basketball team got some very good news for the 2017 class as St. Andrews School F Anthony Polite out of Boca Raton announced he's headed to FSU. Polite is a 'Nole legacy, with his father Michael playing for FSU in the late '80s and early '90s.

This commitment is another big addition for FSU because of Polite's versatility. The 6-6, 215-pounder is listed as a small forward and is a three-star prospect by Rivals.

It also continues the Seminoles' hot streak in the state of Florida after the recent commitment of forward RaiQuan Gray. Polite chose the Seminoles over the University of Miami.

Many had penciled Polite in this class once the 'Noles offered, but this seemed to be a close battle from the start. It certainly helped that Polite is good friends with FSU freshman Jonathan Isaac as well as Gray.

Polite becomes the third commitment in the 2017 class joining Bryan Trimble Jr. and Gray.
