The 2019 game between Florida State and Boise State will be moved to Jacksonville, according to Boise media outlets.

Boise State athletic director Curt Apsey told Boise radio station KTIK this week the Broncos and Seminoles will play at Everbank Field, the home of Jacksonville Jaguars. Apsey also added the game will be played Sept. 7.

Originally, the game was set to be played Aug. 31 at Doak Campbell Stadium.

“For us, and our schedule, that actually worked out well because we now have an open date after that game," Apsey was quoted as saying on radio by the Idaho Statesman. "... And (the players) get a chance to play in a pro stadium, which is a great experience for them."

The Statesman also reported Apsey told the radio station FSU is still slated to travel to Boise in 2020 for a game at Albertsons Stadium. The two schools announced back in 2013 they would be playing each other for the 2019 and 2020 seasons.
