Two of the Florida State football players who put their names in the NCAA Transfer Portal last month are no longer with the Seminoles' program, a team spokesman confirmed to Warchant on Tuesday.

Running back Amir Rasul and tight end Naseir Upshur have both left the team after playing primarily as backups during their first three seasons on campus.

Rasul, a four-star prospect from Miami, served as the third-team running back last season behind Jacques Patrick and Cam Akers. Rasul rushed for 46 yards on 10 carries with one touchdown in 2018. He rushed for 152 yards on 33 carries the year before.

Upshur, a four-star prospect from Philadelphia, played behind Tre' McKitty, Gabe Nabers and Johnathan Vickers last fall. He caught four passes for 53 yards while seeing action in eight games.
