Speedy Louisiana tailback high on FSU Football, intrigued by recent offer
It's not every day that Louisiana Tech finds itself in a recruiting battle with the likes of Florida State, South Carolina and Penn State.
But if the Bulldogs are going to hold on to their recent commitment from speedy in-state running back Ke'Travion Hargrove, that's exactly the type of competition they will have to fight off.
Since making his pledge to Louisiana Tech in May, Hargrove has received offers from several Power 5 programs. Along with the schools mentioned above, Hargrove also is being pursued by Oklahoma State, Michigan State, Memphis and others.

While Hargrove hasn't necessarily ruled any schools out, the Ruston, La., product clearly was impressed by the recent offer from Florida State. And he is even more intrigued after learning about how productive FSU coach Mike Norvell's running backs were at his former school.
"It was really big because right after I got the offer, I did a lot of research on what Coach Norvell did at Memphis with his running backs," Hargrove said. "The amount of reps and things that his running backs get in this offense, and how they are used in so many ways. All this attention with the offers has been exciting."
As is the case with virtually every prospect FSU is recruiting in the state of Louisiana, assistant coach David Johnson gives the Seminoles somewhat of an inside edge. Johnson hails from the state and coached there for many years, so even though he hasn't known Hargrove for very long, the running back knows all about the Seminoles' recruiting coordinator and running backs coach.
