The nearly six month recruiting dry spell for Florida State has come to an end. Tallahassee Lincoln standout Ryan "Bird" GilliamClick Gilliam commits!Here to view this Link. committed on Fox Sports Net on Wednesday. He becomes FSU's seventh verbal commitment for the class of 2003.
Gilliam plays several positions for Lincoln including wide receiver, quarterback and cornerback. However, he is being recruiting by FSU as a cornerback.
The No. 24 overall prospect in the state of Florida is already academically qualified. He selected FSU over Florida and Oregon. He will make an official visit to Florida State this weekend.
