Every day that the Florida State football team practices and has media availability, you can look forward to a Warchant Wrap that night. It's a quick and light recap of the day's practice and a look ahead to what's coming up for the 'Noles. We also will include some links and previews to some of our free and premium content.
THE BIG DEAL
It appears not all is finalized with Florida State's offensive line after all. FSU coach Jimbo Fisher said Monday that Corey Martinez was penciled in to start at center against Texas State on Saturday. On Tuesday, Fisher said there's a possibility Alec Eberle could start instead.
Eberle missed time late last week with an undisclosed health issue, and he wasn't in pads Monday. But on Tuesday, he split time with Martinez on the first team.
"I didn't know if [Eberle] would be back, so that's why I said Martinez right now would be starting," Fisher said. "[Eberle] possibly could be starting too. He was a starter before he got injured."

THE OTHER BIG DEAL
The injury news was not as positive on the other side of the ball. Fisher said junior defensive back Ryan Green will likely miss the entirety of the season with shoulder surgery.
Green, who converted from tailback to cornerback in the spring, was No. 2 behind Marquez White at one corner spot. Fortunately for the 'Noles, freshman cornerback Tarvarus McFadden has returned this week from his hamstring injury.
IN THEIR OWN WORDS
"He's done well, he's played well, he's been typical Rod. ... It is almost like you forget he's there because he plays so good you worry about coaching the other guys. He's doing a real sold job. He's Mr. Consistent." -- Head coach Jimbo Fisher on sophomore offensive lineman Roderick Johnson and what he's seen from the second-year starter.
"We are at least two deep at every position. We don't have numbers for days ... we might not have five corners. But we do have five safeties and one of them could play corner." -- Senior defensive back Lamarcus Brutus on FSU losing Green from the secondary
"That's the thing I am excited about. We're getting more depth. We're getting tons of depth. Really excites me having guys, guys who can play and feel comfortable putting into the game." -- Fisher said about the depth the Seminoles have heading into the season.
