After visit from Taggart, 4-star WR Thompson now planning trip to FSU
After locking down some committed players and convincing them to shut down their recruitment, new Florida State head coach Willie Taggart now is making an impact with some top uncommitted prospects.
On Monday, Taggart paid a visit to one of the biggest targets on the Seminoles' board -- Rivals100 wide receiver Warren Thompson.
Thompson, who previously was committed to Taggart and Oregon before backing out on that pledge over the weekend, was apparently so impressed by the in-home visit that he now is planning to visit Florida State this weekend.
That's big news considering Thompson originally wasn't planning to take any visits until January. It's also big that he's coming during the same weekend as four-star defensive back Isaiah Bolden. Both Thompson and Bolden grew up as Florida State fans but had previously committed to the Ducks.
