THE LATEST: A little over six months ago, 2019 offensive tackle Wanya Morris committed to Florida State. It happened while he was on a visit in Tallahassee. The 6-foot-5, 280 pound junior out of Loganville (Ga.) Grayson was at one time one of four in the 2019 class from his school committed to the Seminoles.

Ronald Thompkins de-committed from Florida State in September and Morris has been adding offers and visiting other schools while watching the Seminoles have a tough season.

This has all led to some questions around Morris' commitment.

IN HIS OWN WORDS: "Nothing has really changed for me and I am still committed to Florida State," said Morris. "We talk on and off — it just depends on how busy they are. I did have a good talk with coach Jimbo Fisher not too long ago, so that was cool.

"I know they are having a tough season, but that happens. The struggles they are having does not matter to me. I still know it is a good program and they will be back from this. It has not changed the way I feel about them.

"I can say that I have thought about de-committing before, it has crossed my mind, but I think all recruits think about this a lot. I still love Florida State. They have always shown me that I am welcome there and I am still with Florida State right now.

"I have not been able to make it down there for a game yet this season, but I still hope to. It just isn't easy to get there. I know they want me to come down and I hope to visit soon.

"My commitment is the same and I still love Florida State, coach Fisher, coach Trickett and coach Sunseri."

RIVALS REACTION: Oregon is the most recent school to offer Morris and he is going to give each school a look, but if there is a threat to Florida State right now, it may be Georgia. He has taken in multiple games at Georgia this season because of the interest the Bulldogs are showing him and that it is only one hour away from home. Florida State appears to be hanging on here right now. Morris does like Florida State a lot, but him admitting he has thought about backing off his commitment tells you that there may be concern if you are in Tallahassee.
