After a relatively quiet summer, the commitments have been coming at a furious pace as of late. The latest recruit to jump on the FSU train is four star-star receiver Jalen Curry. The a 6-foot-3, 190-pounder announced his commitment just a couple days after taking part in the July Jimbo Fisher Camp. In fact, the Stafford (TX) native privately committed to head coach Jimbo Fisher during a meeting on Wednesday afternoon.
"Oh man I got here (Wednesday) and got a chance to tour the facilities and they were incredible," said Curry on Thursday. "I was so happy I finally got to see it for myself instead of people telling me how great it is."
Curry became very interested in the Seminoles following an offer he received back in March. Since then friends and fellow Texas natives Dontavious Jackson and Marvin Wilson, both FSU players, have been working hard to get the talented receiver to join them in Tallahassee.
Curry selected FSU over Texas A&M, Auburn and others. He becomes the eighth player to commit for the class of 2019.
