With reports gaining steam that Florida State football coach Jimbo Fisher will soon resign from FSU and take the vacant head coaching position at Texas A&M, university staffers appeared to be on high alert during Fisher's call-in show Wednesday evening.

Questions from callers and audience members appeared to be heavily screened, with most topics covering innocuous topics such as how the team gets motivated for games and which players have been performing well.

Then about 45 minutes in, the Seminoles' defenses apparently failed.

A male audience member started his question by stating how excited he was when Fisher came to the program as a coordinator and eventually became head coach. And then he snuck in his question about Fisher's future.

"I remember watching a lot of your press conferences," the man said with a smile. "How you would talk about how we need to be committed to the program and we need to keep cheering for the team ... about loyalty to the program.

"So I'm wondering: Where's the loyalty to the program, Jimbo?"

An FSU marketing representative quickly took the microphone away from the man and ushered him out of the event, nudging him in the back at least twice.

Fisher laughed off the question, and host Gene Deckerhoff quickly moved to another topic.
