(Updated Oct. 20, 2016)

As Florida State's 2016 season passes the midway point, there have been some changes to where the Hot Board stands for the Seminoles. The 'Noles currently have 14 verbal commitments, and we hear they are likely to sign between 19-23.

With FSU currently enjoying a bye week, it's a perfect time to take a closer look at how FSU's Hot Board looks on the offensive side of the ball.

QUARTERBACKS (FSU EXPECTED TO TAKE 2)

Outlook for QB Bailey Hockman

Commitment

None

Hockman is done with the recruiting process after taking his official visit for the UNC game. He'll be an early enrollee.

Randy Sanders,

Jimbo Fisher

Outlook for QB James Blackman

Commitment

UL, WVU

Blackman is very firm in his pledge, but that hasn't stopped West Virginia and Louisville from pushing. Blackman plans to be at the Clemson game next week.

The Skinny on FSU QB targets

This position is likely a wrap with Blackman and Hockman on board. Both have made it clear to the staff that FSU is where they want to be. The 'Noles will keep Sam Ehlinger, a Texas commitment, barely on the radar, but it is very doubtful they show much attention at this point.

RUNNING BACKS (FSU EXPECTED TO TAKE 2-3)

Outlook for RB Khalan Laborn

Commitment

VT, OSU, UNC

Laborn is a solid commit and has been one of FSU's best recruiters so far on offense. He plans to visit for the Clemson game.
