Former Florida State star defensive back Jalen Ramsey was expected to be one of the most impressive performers at the 2016 NFL Combine in Indianapolis, and the Seminoles' All-American is not disappointing.
First on Monday morning, Ramsey posted a 41.5-inch vertical jump. Then he posted an 11-foot, 3-inch standing broad jump.
In the 40-yard dash, the three-year starter ran an unofficial 4.46 on his first attempt and a 4.42 on his second. The NFL Network later posted on Twitter that Ramsey's official time was 4.41 on his second attempt.
All of his marks were among the best of the weekend at any position.
Ramsey, who starred at safety, nickelback and cornerback during his time with the Seminoles, is expected to be a top-5 or top-10 pick, according to various draft analysts. FSU had the No. 1 overall pick in the 2015 draft when quarterback Jameis Winston was selected by Tampa Bay.
