Florida State head coach Mike Norvell and his staff continue to identify targets via the NCAA transfer portal. The latest offer to be extended by FSU was to Alabama transfer running back Roydell Williams on Friday night.
Williams, 5-10 and 214-pounds, confirmed his offer from the Seminoles on Friday night via social media.
Williams was highly productive over the last four seasons for the Crimson Tide where he ran for 1165 yards on 234 carriers in 45 career games. This past season he ran for a career high 560 yards on 111 carries including five touchdown runs. Williams also caught 11 passes for 58 yards in 2023.
Coming out of Hueytown (Ala.) High as a member of the 2020 recruiting class, Williams was ranked as the 90th-best overall player in the country by Rivals.
It isn't known at this time whether or not Williams will take an official visit to FSU.
