With the NCAA expected to open up in-person recruiting this summer, things are about to heat up even more for Florida State football recruiting. And the Seminoles already have been extremely productive early in the 2022 cycle, with seven commitments and a class ranked in the top 10 nationally.
Continuing today, we will take a closer look at the top prospects on FSU's board at each position on offense and defense. We'll examine where the Seminoles stand with each, and which schools represent the main competition.
Today's installment focuses on the wide receivers, where FSU already has two prospects committed and the Seminoles are in the running for several more.

WIDE RECIEVERS (FSU EXPECTED TO TAKE 3-4)
The Skinny on FSU & WR Quincey McAdoo
There are no concerns here as far as Quincey McAdoo's feelings about the FSU offense or the coaching staff. I'm told those bonds are as strong as they have ever been. Now, Arkansas is still pushing, but it doesn't appear that is changing his recruitment or feelings about the Noles. The FSU commit also said that a visit to Tallahassee is the only trip he's focused on currently. You can't totally count out other schools, especially Arkansas, but McAdoo sounds pretty locked in. His 4.4 speed and impressive performances in recent camp settings will only bring added attention.
The Skinny on FSU & Devaughn Mortimer
Devaughn Mortimer is FSU's most recent commitment, and he's probably the fastest one too. Very dynamic slot receiver that causes a lot of issues for opposing defenses. Mortimer is locked in with the 'Noles since that was his favorite team growing up. He's also the teammate of FSU DE commit Nyjalik Kelly, so that also helps the comfort in his pledge. He plans to visit FSU in April. Most feel he runs in the 4.35 or 4.4 range.
