Former Florida State football player, Sun Sports broadcaster and Osceola columnist Keith Jones takes a look back at the first half of the season. His column this week includes a top 10 list of why it's okay for fans to be positive about the how the 'Noles have done through the first six games of 2008.
Entering this Saturday's game versus Virginia Tech, the Seminoles boast the nation's third ranked defense. Warchant TV caught up with preseason All-ACC defensive end Everette Brown to talk about how the defense has played so far this season, how they are able to bouncing back from big offensive plays, preparing for Virginia Tech quarterback Tyrod Taylor, and more.
After being on the road for a month, the Seminole football team returns to Doak Campbell Stadium riding a three-game winning streak and are back in the thick of the ACC title race. Standing in the 'Noles' way to a 6-1 record is Tyrod Taylor and the Virginia Tech Hokies. Here's our weekly game preview, the five keys to victory and a score prediction.
Since looking positively dreadful in a 12-3 loss to Wake Forest a month ago, the 'Noles have looked re-energized, beating three not-very-good teams the last three weeks. Credit to Florida State for getting to five wins by Halloween, but this team's ascension to the top 25 is a bit dubious: there was a day and age when beating Colorado, Miami and NC State meant something. That day is not today. However, Florida State always seems to have something in store for Virginia Tech Tech. What ammo is in the clip this Saturday? Let's check it out.
