The visits are now complete for Austin (Texas) Westlake Rivals100 linebacker Levi Jones, with the Florida State Seminoles getting the last chance to impress -- and it looks like the Seminoles did just that.
After wrapping up his weekend trip to Tallahassee, Jones talked about the entire experience and his plans for National Signing Day.
Did Jones save his best visit for last?
We might not know for sure until Wednesday at 8 a.m., when the Rivals100 linebacker announces his college choice between Florida State, Southern Cal and Florida. However, the 'Noles certainly rolled out the red carpet for Jones' weekend visit.
He told Warchant that his host for the visit was linebacker Josh Brown, and he also spent a lot of time with fellow Texan Dontavious Jackson.
"Just spending time with them and talking about the type of stuff that goes on here," Jones said. "Just being here in Tallahassee was great. It's a great place. Then getting time to spend with the coaches, players and going over the defense. As I said, I loved Tallahassee a lot."
There was plenty for the 6-foot-3, 225-pound linebacker to see at FSU. But he said the biggest thing was getting a feel for the campus and building a connection with the players and coaches.
When asked about his conversations with linebackers coach Bill Miller, Jones said he came away very impressed.
"We talked about where they would see me play and how I would flourish in this system," Jones said. "Coach Miller is a great guy that I feel so comfortable around. He's very genuine, and we have that bond and I got to know him more personal this weekend."
