Throughout the recruiting process, Thomas has raved about his relationship with FSU defensive tackles coach Odell Haggins and recruiting coordinator David Johnson.

“We really don’t even talk about recruiting that much," the 6-foot-2, 280-pound lineman said of Haggins when he visited FSU earlier this month. "We just chat it up like he is one of the guys. He tells me that he wants me to be one of the defensive linemen that he signs. I respect that.”

Thomas is FSU's third defensive line commitment of the Class of 2022 but the first true defensive tackle. He is the Seminoles' 13th commitment of this class, and he elevates the group to No. 4 in the team recruiting rankings.
