Willie Taggart appears to be bringing some West Coast flavor to the Florida State football program.

Not long after he accepted the position as Florida State's head coach, Taggart pulled in five-star defensive back Jaiden Woodbey out of the Golden State. Now, the Seminoles are dipping into California once again.

Four-star tight end Camren McDonald announced on Saturday that he has committed to the Seminoles. His primary recruiter is FSU linebackers coach Raymond Woodie.

McDonald, who is listed at 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds, was previously committed to Southern Cal before decommitting in mid-November.

Although his size suggests he could be a tight end in college, McDonald frequently lined up as a wide receiver in high school, which should make him a very nice fit for Taggart's "Gulf Coast Offense."

Rivals lists McDonald as the No. 9 tight end in the nation.
