FSU in top 12 for four-star DT Andrew Maddox

Four-star defensive tackle and Hattiesburg (Miss.) Oak Grove prospect Andrew Maddox has narrowed down his list of contended schools to just 12.

In addition to Florida State, Texas, Georgia, Miami, LSU, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Mississippi State round out the list.

At 6-foot-4 and 285 pounds, Maddox is a Rivals100 member and is ranked as the 29th-best prospect in the country. He is also one of the best players in Mississippi and the No. 3 defensive tackle in the 2025 class.

Maddox visited Florida State once in 2023, making an appearance at the Seminole Elite Camp in June. Since then, Maddox has not returned to campus.
